Darkness Cannons (originally from Smash Bros. Brawl) are large cannons created by Lord Gnaa, that are infused
with his Darkness. They help awaken the darkness inside of others who are hit by the cannons.
History[]
Firstborn Saga[]
Throughout the Firstborn Saga, Darkness Cannons are used quite often, on many different characters, usually resulting in later conflicts. They were wielded by the members of Team Gnaa and ordered to shoot certain people as per Lord Gnaa's plans.
Victims[]
- Harvey McKenzie - gained recurring visions of his friends hating him. This led him to be lured to Mt. Gnaa, where Lord Gnaa possessed him.
- Nova of Harnita - gained a vision of Viridi, trying to turn Nova against humanity. Ultimately, Nova broke the hold and escaped the darkness on her own.
- Chad Dickson - gained a vision of Nigel Uno, gloating about his entry to GKND, which Chad didn't get. It awakened Chad's hatred towards metahumans, and led him to mistreat Emily Matthews.
- Dimentia Z. Winkiebottom - remembered her hatred for adults and tried to destroy Planet Wisp. She was knocked back to normal by Marine's lightbending.
- Kami Drilovsky - gained a vision of Olivia Johnson, who awakened Kami's inner hate for aliens. This led her to leave and be mean to Ava and Kweeb.
- Danika Anderson - shot by Lucinda and Brain and causing her to become gloomy and miserable, losing her feelings for Nolan.
- Yuki Crystal - shot by Lucinda after she transformed him into a monster. It was unknown what his vision was, but he was ordered to destroy Santa's Workshop.
Nextgen Series[]
In Sector JP, Hannibal Roy Bean attempted to turn Karin into a Heartless, by infusing her with ectoplasm, killing her mother to make her despair, then shooting the child with a Darkness Cannon.
Darkness Bombs[]
Darkness Bombs are powerful explosives imbued with the same Dark Chi from Mt. Gnaa, in terrific amounts. They can explode and swallow an entire area in darkness. The results of this are unknown. Only one Darkness Bomb was created so far, in the form of a Footbomb, and was accidentally used to destroy Arlen, Texas's NFL Stadium. The bomb was meant to destroy KND Moonbase.
