In Legend of the Seven Lights, Quill and Sector Q go to the Great Clock with Dillon and Carol, hoping to find their leader, Drake in the galactic journey. Quill is one of the five to enter the Cyberspace of Great Clock. After they find Vanellope von Schweetz, Quill, Kodama, and Dillon battle the XANA/Kaiba amalgamation known as XANAIBA. In Pirate Wars, Quill, Eddy, and Drake become trapped in Catherine's nightmare dungeon. Quill and Eddy end up fighting each other for survival, but Drake ultimately saves them all by reaching the top first and attempting to kill Catherine, forcing her to end the nightmare. The team becomes distraught when Drake is killed by Smaug. As a result of his death, Quill is made leader of Sector Q. The team later confronts Gaz Membrane in her Gamer Shrine, but she will only surrender if she is beaten in a game. As Quill challenges her to a kart-racing game, Eddy uses his hacking skills to help Quill cheat and defeat the pro gamer. They attack and KO Gaz before bringing her in.

In The Great Gourmet Hunt, Quill battles Tommy Revolver during Gourmet Corp.'s invasion. Tommy used Emerald Firebending to keep Quill back, able to shape his bending into six tentacles. Quill drove his RC car in attempt to shoot Tommy from behind via its turret. At the story's end, Quill attends a meeting with other Sector Leaders as Index discusses who the Newborn Guardians are.
